It doesn’t seem like they outright cancelled it to me, reading the solicit. More like the title just ran to its closure point.

I mean. Christos confirmed its cancellation and he is definitely off the book (he said on twitter there’s no reason the kids won’t be used, it’ll just be by other hands). So, sure, they could continue it, but it wouldn’t be the same. He created those kids, he was the heart and soul of the book.

And, like I said, most of Marvel’s other writers seem to think that teens are disposable, to make you sad during a big event or story arc.

Idk. Looking at the solicit, my guess would be just that if they have another teen book (the stuff they’re hinting at with Wiccan et al) the kids (or SOME of them) might show up there. Like, they will continue to do things with Laura because she’s popular. 

But it still won’t be Avengers Academy as I know it and it makes me really, really upset.
