He just looks so sassy.

And, ok, I love this origin for Felicia because this story actually makes you question whose side you’re on. Because Peter is staunchly for being in the legal right— Felicia breaking her father out of prison is breaking the law and thus she must be put to a stop.
But then you get this response from Felicia about it and, to me, it’s Wolfman clearly posing the question of whether being legally right out does being morally right. And it clarifies that they aren’t often the same thing.
Her first big theft wasn’t diamonds or gold, it was breaking her father out of prison so he could die at home in peace. Felicia was NOT introduced as a moustache-twirling villain, but instead a morally grey character. And someone who, in this story, seems to be more in the right than in the wrong.
Like, what a good intro.

Do you remember when Kevin Smith decided that this wasn’t a good enough reason for Felicia to become a thief and decided instead to go with the disgusting mess that is The Evil That Men Do?
Yeah. Good times.

Things that make my heart sing: Jono and Paige working together to help the kids while the other Legacy members are fighting Avengers.
[The Defenders v4 #1]
This is probably the best intro to a character I have ever witnessed.
[X-Men v3 #30]
Storm being a motherfucking QUEEN.

Oh.
Ow.
Really, Frenzy. You’re spoiling world peace for everyone.

Best line from the Marvel books I read this week, tbh.
Foggy: It was a frame. By gangsters, I think. We did our best to fight it— but we lost. Matt was disbarred from practicing law. Then his house blew up and Matt vanished.
Karen: Oh no— Oh, Foggy— It— It’s all my fault.
Foggy: Tell me what you mean by that, Karen.
Karen: Nothing. Just talking like a junkie. Doesn’t mean anything. Look, I better go.
Foggy: Back to the guy who punched you? No. You’re coming home with me, Karen.
Karen: No, Foggy. You’re sweet, but no. Paulo— he’ll kill you. He’ll kill both of us.
Foggy: I won’t take no for an answer, Karen. You and me, we’re family. Matt’s family.
[Daredevil v1 #230]
Ok so obviously I’ve been rereading Born Again. And it’s frustrating because in the midst of Miller’s rampant lady problems (and the times when him just being a terrible person sort of shines through in his writing) we get moments like this.
Foggy Nelson is the best person.
